If all our athletes develop a success belief - imagine the results we will have at the 2012 London Olympics. What is a success belief and how do we get it?
Have you ever considered that you were genetically designed and engineered for success? As a child you had to develop an immune system to cope with all the different diseases that are around. Your bodies manufactured the different types of chemicals to fight off those diseases. How successful is that? We can put rubbish into our body and yet it will try to clear out that rubbish and function at its best, even when we abuse it. If we can realise that we have this fantastic success mechanism built into our very being, then to be successful will be easy. The problem is we do not understand our built in success system.
The mind is designed for absolute success. Whatever we think about, our powerful mind does everything in its power to deliver that result. That is both the good things we want, and the bad things that we do not want. What we think about we bring about.
Think back to times when things went wrong in your life. Your thoughts were those of going wrong.
On the other side, think of when every thing went right for you. Consider how you were thinking?
When things go right or wrong, usually it is not a surprise - you were expecting it. How many times have you heard it said “I knew my luck couldn’t last” and it didn’t.
If, by our design, we are destined for ultimate success, then we have in our power to think and believe our way to success. Our athletes can easily win as many medals as any of the other athletes. They all have the same chance. Let’s hope that at this 2012 London Olympics we have medals aplenty with this success belief.
