It is quite interesting how we all want to blame someone or something. I see Tessa Jowell recently saying that if they had any idea of this recession, they would not have put in the bid for the 2012 London Olympics. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. The media is having a field day with suggestions everything is going wrong including the project being way over budget.
All of these things might be true and correct, but the decision has been made and now it is time to make the most of it. Not keep blaming anyone and everyone. If there was no recession, it would have been the best decision ever.
If everyone stopped fault finding and took responsibility for what they are doing, this would be a different place and the result would be a lot better.
You even see it with the athletes (some of them - not all) who blamed team mates for failing. When you are part of a team you all stand up and be counted. As a nation, it does not matter who his right and who is wrong. It is far more important to realise what is right, and then go for it. If we all stood up and tried to make this work, I am sure it will have a far better outcome. It is not going to please everyone but then that is the case with most decisions. They never do.
Lets all stop blaming and complaining and get on with the task on hand - to make this 2012 London Olympics one to remember and not for the negatives but for the positives.
